| Project Playground, August 2009 | Elisa and I brought 7 youth and joined 23 others on a service project trip to the Skatin First Nations reserve, a remote village of 100 people situated north of the tip of Harrison Lake. We built a playground for the children and renovated the dilapidated community hall. We learned about unconditionally loving a group of people different than ourselves. We saw tangible improvements in their daily life and deep rooted healing in their hearts. I loved this trip and look forward to doing it again next year.

| Successful Fundraising Dinner | The 2008 YFC Dinner was a great success. The theme for this year was based on The Tonight Show. Youth and staff from around the valley were interviewed, including myself and Katie, one of my interns.
Special "THANKS" to all who came out and supported me and the work of YFC.

| LifeChangers Went Camping | The LifeChangers group just spent a night camping at Lindeman Lake. Calvin, Elisa and 4 youth packed their very heavy bags and hiked over an hour to sleep on the shores of this beautiful lake. They cooked over a fire, explored the caves and forest, played hide and seek, and spent time with God. The girls slept in a tent and the guys roughed it by sleeping under the stars. To take advantage of their surroundings, they gathered items which significantly reminded them of God, such as a heart shaped rock, branches formed into a cross, and "prayer sticks." A highlight was when they spent some time with God in a slow, contemplative praying of the Scriptures.

| Donated Laptop | Some generous donors have helped supply a much needed laptop for Station X. With this laptop, we can upgrade our 3 year old office computer that takes 5 minutes to open email, we can use the laptop on mobile fundraising presentations, and we can also now project video on the big screen during Station X events.

| Quest Videos | Thanks to Darian Kovacs for his generous donation to our ministry. He recently donated the Quest Video Series for use in Heritage Park Secondary School for later this year. Darian runs a ministry called Canada Fire which exists to help students get the resources, training and help you needed to see campus movements launched and supported in schools.
